Reveal order and terminal scoring
Twelve independent fair bits form four three-bit vectors. The lowest bit is revealed first, followed by the remaining bits in order; each consecutive group of three belongs to the next vector. Scan the four vectors from position 1 to position 4. Retain a vector only when it increases the rank over GF(2), where addition uses exclusive OR. If r vectors are retained, the terminal reward is the sum of their one-based positions minus r(r+1)/2. For example, vectors 1, 2, 0 and 4 retain positions 1, 2 and 4: the first two and the last vector are independent, while zero adds no rank. With r = 3, the reward is 1 + 2 + 4 − 6 = 1. Vectors 0, 0, 0 and 1 retain only position 4, giving 4 − 1 = 3. These are terminal rewards; a partial reveal instead shows the average over all remaining compatible outcomes.
Calculate the current gross quote
The current gross quote is 0.97 times the average terminal reward among all outcomes compatible with the revealed bits, divided by the average reward before any reveal. It starts at 0.9700× and can rise or fall. The 3% reduction is already included; it is not charged again at collection. The opening quote cannot be collected before the first bit is revealed. There are 4,096 equally likely complete bit sequences. After each reveal, the average includes only those sequences consistent with the visible bits. Four decimal places are shown, while settlement uses the full quote.
Manual collection and elapsed reveals
Manual collection becomes available after the first reveal while the round survives. A click first processes every reveal due at that moment, in chronological order. A zero quote ends the round before manual collection can pay. An automatic crossing can also settle first. If the round remains active, manual collection pays its current full quote, which may differ from the last value you saw. Before the first reveal the Collect button is unavailable. Reveals are scheduled about 340 milliseconds apart, or 20 milliseconds apart in reduced-motion mode. If several reveals become due together, they are processed in order; the faster presentation does not change the scoring.
Automatic crossing, zero and final settlement
Choose By hand, or an automatic threshold of 1.2×, 2×, 3× or 5× before starting. Auto pays the full actual quote at the first reveal that reaches or exceeds the chosen threshold, including any overshoot. An earlier crossing settles before a later zero. If no threshold is reached, zero still ends the round and a positive quote on reveal 12 settles automatically. By hand turns off the preset threshold, not the final settlement. At each due reveal, zero is checked first, then a qualifying automatic crossing, then the final-reveal settlement. Once an earlier event settles the round, later reveals do not alter that settled result.
Stake, wallet and reload
Stakes are 10, 20, 50 or 100 virtual coins; the default is 20. Choose the stake and collection setting before Start reveal. During a round these settings and Restore balance are locked, and a second round cannot start. The main button offers Collect current quote after the first reveal; sound remains available. There are no separate payout curves or automatic starts of new rounds. A new local wallet starts with 1,000 free virtual coins. Starting deducts one selected stake. At settlement, the captured stake times the full quote is added to the saved fractional carry. The wallet credits the whole-coin part and saves the remainder for later settlements. A zero return leaves an existing fraction intact; a small positive return may credit zero whole coins. Restore balance works only when no round is active and the whole-coin balance is below 10. It sets that balance to exactly 1,000, rather than adding 1,000, and preserves fractional carry. Restoration is manual and does not change the currently selected stake or collection setting. The wallet balance and fractional carry persist in this browser’s local storage, including a saved zero balance. Reloading an unfinished round keeps the stake deduction but provides no refund, return or resumed round. After reload the stake is 20 and collection is By hand. Completed settlement and manual restoration do not themselves reset your selected settings.
Expected return and its limits
The mathematical model has a 97% expected gross return for stopping rules that use only revealed information and settle within the twelve reveals. This includes fixed reveal depths and the available automatic thresholds. It is an average of unrounded gross returns over possible outcomes, not a 97% chance of winning or a promised result for your balance. Different stopping choices change the distribution of returns; they do not remove the built-in reduction. Gross return includes the stake rather than being extra profit. Abandoning a round by reloading is not collection and does not receive the quote.
Frequently asked questions
Can I collect the opening 0.9700×?
No. Manual collection begins after the first reveal. If a due zero or automatic crossing settles first, there is no active round left for a manual collection.
What if Auto never reaches my threshold?
The round ends at a zero quote or settles the positive quote on reveal 12. It does not wait beyond the twelve reveals.
Will a delayed click use the earlier displayed quote?
No. The game first processes all reveals due at the click time in order. It then collects the current quote only if the round remains active.
